[Bug 966132] Re: Rhythmbox doesn't (always) play when started from indicator
This happens to me with Banshee in 11.10. The first time I press the play button, Banshee starts but doesn't start playing. The second time, Banshee starts and starts playing. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to rhythmbox in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/966132 Title: Rhythmbox doesn't (always) play when started from indicator To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/rhythmbox/+bug/966132/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

[Bug 275212] Re: [Intrepid] alpha 6 - Cannot play files (eg .ogg, .mpeg4, .mp3) in Totem
I ran an mp4 from the command line just now and it ran fine - no errors shown. [Bug 274146] Re: Has not yet replaced the existing log out applet
I raised bug #274576 which has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. I don't quite understand all the options described above but I think the bug I raised is related but actually not a duplicate. The bug I raised wasn't about the placement of the new fast-switch button, but the fact that the new button does not contain all the functionality of the old applet - the main thing being that I can't 'shutdown' from the new button. Is this intentional or should the new button include all the old options? -- Has not yet replaced the existing log out applet https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/274146 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-session in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 275212] [NEW] [Intrepid] alpha 6 - Cannot play files (eg .ogg, .mpeg4, .mp3) in Totem
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: totem I just tried to play a .ogg file, a .mpeg file, and a .mp3 file in Totem and none of them will play. I get a message saying An error occurred. Could not get/set settings from/on resource.. The error message needs to be more useful (I'm not sure what it's trying to say) and I'm not sure what the problem is. If it were just a missing codec, it would tell me and go looking for suitable codecs (at least, it did in hardy). I've installed all available updates to date. On a Samsung Q35 laptop. ** Affects: totem (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- [Intrepid] alpha 6 - Cannot play files (eg .ogg, .mpeg4, .mp3) in Totem https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/275212 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to totem in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
