[Bug 1002537] Re: Shotwell Send To Email doesn't attach multiple photos

2012-05-22 Thread Laura Khalil
Hi Alex,

I am not able to reproduce this issue. How large are the individual
images you are trying to send? What is their format? If I understand,
you are able to send them if you pack them in a zip file. Is that
correct?

[Bug 986676] Re: Shotwell does not show thumbnails for images on Mass Storage Camera

2012-04-23 Thread Laura Khalil
Frederik,

I belive what you're experiencing is a problem resulting from an
interaction between some and gPhoto, a common Linux library Shotwell
uses to access digital cameras.

I'm glad that the photos are showing normally when you do import them.

You may consider filing a bug with the gPhoto team. I did not see any
bugs related to the N9 in their bug database, so this could be something
new or part of a more generic issue.

You can file a bug with gPhoto here:

http://sourceforge.net/tracker/?group_id=8874atid=108874

Cheers,

Laura

[Bug 958784] Re: downloaded pictures detected as duplicates

2012-03-19 Thread Laura Khalil
Hi Jeremy,

Let's figure this out. When you download photos from Facebook, do you
put them in a folder with other photos that are already in Shotwell?
This would explain why Shotwell is giving you the message that there are
duplicates it will not import. Have you checked that the Facebook photos
have been imported into Shotwell?

[Bug 958784] Re: downloaded pictures detected as duplicates

2012-03-19 Thread Laura Khalil
My hunch is that your Facebook photos are already in Shotwell from a
previous import and that's why you're seeing this message about photos
being already imported. Shotwell looks at the photo itself (and not the
filename) to determine duplicates.

I have tried to reproduce what you're seeing, however I am able to
successfully upload photos to Shotwell that have been downloaded from
Facebook.

[Bug 645862] Re: Import problem log incomplete

2012-03-12 Thread Laura Khalil
Giovanni,

If I understand correctly, the issue that you are having is that you
cannot see all the files that were marked as duplicates when you
imported photos into Shotwell.

We currently have an outstanding feature logged upstream to log all
files not imported:

http://redmine.yorba.org/issues/2593

There are many features we would like to include in Shotwell. If you
have a Redmine account, you may follow this issue upstream and comment
on its progress.

[Bug 941106] Re: Random order of photos when changed the date of a photo in 1944

2012-02-27 Thread Laura Khalil
Thanks for reporting this. A few questions to help debug this:

- How are you changing the date of the photo?
- When you mention that if you change the date of the photo to 1944 and all the
photos are mixed, can you clarify where they are mixed? Do you mean that the
library view no longer properly displays them by date, or are you referring to
a change in how the event folders are displayed?
- Can you describe the steps to reproduce this? Currently, I am unable to
reproduce this issue, so more information would be appreicated.

[Bug 933989] Re: Shotwell ignores RAW (.RW2) files when fetching pictures from Panasonic Lumix

2012-02-17 Thread Laura Khalil
Hi Anders,

Thank you for reporting this. I believe what you're experiencing is a
problem that results from an interaction between some cameras and
gPhoto, a common Linux library Shotwell uses to access digital cameras.

It looks like this bug has been filed and patched in libgphoto2. You can
read more about that here:

http://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=detailaid=3445503group_id=8874atid=108874

Please download the latest version of libgphoto2-2.4.12. That should
resolve the issue. Otherwise, a common workaround for this problem is to
simply insert your SD card directly into the computer.

I have updated the issue upstream at
http://redmine.yorba.org/issues/4166 to reflect that this issue may be
more widespread. I am able to replicate on an HTC Evo running Android
2.3.3

Until this issue is fixed, there is a simple workaround. Select your
video in Shotwell and from the drop down menu select Photos Adjust
Date and Time. Once you've manually set the time it will appear in the
appropriate Event.
