[Bug 1168075] [NEW] totem crashed with signal 5 in cogl_display_setup()
Public bug reported: Totem is not at all working on my system. It simply crashes out. VLC is fine. When I tried to run from terminal it gave following output :- manish@SR1931IL:~$ totem (totem:4676): Gdk-ERROR **: The program 'totem' received an X Window System error. This probably reflects a bug in the program. The error was 'GLXBadContext'. (Details: serial 159 error_code 169 request_code 153 minor_code 6) (Note to programmers: normally, X errors are reported asynchronously; that is, you will receive the error a while after causing it. To debug your program, run it with the GDK_SYNCHRONIZE environment variable to change this behavior. You can then get a meaningful backtrace from your debugger if you break on the gdk_x_error() function.) @ Luca : My screen default resolution is 1024x600 ( Netbook ) . Due to this reason , I am unable to view all the option in one screen . I have to use the work-space switcher to view the complete settings window. So, if the maximize option is provided then I ( and other netbook users ) can use it to resize the window to auto-fit into the available screen size. ** Changed in: gnome-control-center (Ubuntu) Status: Invalid = Opinion -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-control-center in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/986358 Title: No maximize button on Appearance settings Window after un-maximizing it To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-control-center/+bug/986358/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
