[Bug 767095] Re: 1 pixel icons in notification-area-applet when compiz is the windows manager
I am another happy user who can report that problem went away. Additionally it looks like it fixed a two other bugs and introduces one new (at least for me): - So far i haven't noticed any gnome-applet crashes - Emerald finaly works There is one regression tough - when I switch to Emerald shadows that should appear under the right edge of each window are not displayed at all. Could you please advise to which package the bug should be raised - emerald or compiz? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-panel in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/767095 Title: 1 pixel icons in notification-area-applet when compiz is the windows manager -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 767095] Re: 1 pixel icons in notification-area-applet when compiz is the windows manager
@Adam: I don't see such behaviour with Skype - it basically never appears at my desktop. However Kadu bahaves exactly like you described - some random full-icon-sized image appears and then icon is shown. Where icon do not appear then this noise is nevert present. Hint with using unintialized memory sounds reasonable to me.

[Bug 692527] Re: Empathy does not allow to login
Yeah, that works. I was not aware about that solution. I can also confirm that issue was present when i was connecting through my WWAN card using manual scripts. When i was using network-manager everything works flawlessly. I guess this can be closed now. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to empathy in ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/692527 Title: Empathy does not allow to login -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
