Ok, please re-install the lot by running this.

$ snap remove --purge gnome-3-34-1804

$ rm -rf ~/snap/gnome-calculator
$ snap install gnome-calculator
$ snap run gnome-calculator

If this still doesn't work, please share the terminal output from the

Oh interesting. Looks like you don’t even have the gnome-3-34-1804 snap
installed. Could you give the output of

$ snap list

If you don’t see that snap in the list try:

$ sudo snap install gnome-3-34-1804

And see if that fixes your issue.

If your user account is configured to not suspend, you could copy the

IFS=$'\n'; for x in $(sudo -u username gsettings list-recursively

@adam-yorba, thanks Adam, yeah it would seem there may be fault on both
ends here (mutter and libreoffice). I'm going to re-add LibreOffice and
report this upstream.

Whoops, I was testing Ubuntu on X11 and Debian on Wayland. I switch to
X11 on Debian and this is indeed reproducible there (see attached).

I will report this upstream.

[Bug 1852183] Re: copy/paste (clipboard) is broken in Ubuntu 19.10

2019-11-12 Thread Marcus Tomlinson
Agreed, this does seem to be somewhat Ubuntu (and indeed perhaps Mutter)
related, and not specific to LibreOffice.

I tried the exact same version of LibreOffice
(libreoffice-6.3.3.2-snap1) on Debian Buster and Ubuntu 19.10, and found
that while reproducible on Ubuntu, it is not on Debian (see attached
screencasts).

Ubuntu Mutter Version: 3.34.1-1ubuntu1
Debian Mutter Version: 3.34.1+git20191107-1
