[Bug 128329] Re: visual bug in gnome terminal

2008-02-17 Thread Martin Kretzschmar
I observed this bug on a week old Hardy install. My xorg.conf is
basically empty (generated by the alternate installer):

Section InputDevice
Identifier Generic Keyboard
Driver kbd
Option XkbRules xorg
Option XkbModel pc102
Option XkbLayout de
Option XkbVariantnodeadkeys
Option XkbOptionslv3:ralt_switch
EndSection

Section InputDevice
Identifier Configured Mouse
Driver mouse
EndSection

Section Device
Identifier Configured Video Device
EndSection

Section Monitor
Identifier Configured Monitor
EndSection

Section Screen
Identifier Default Screen
Monitor Configured Monitor
EndSection

I never saw this before (breezy installation continuously updated to
hardy).

I have the same graphics chip, same screen resolution as the original
reporter. Different laptop though (Thinkpad T40p).

[Bug 52405] Re: gnome-panel eats 50% cpu for half an hour and flickers

2006-09-12 Thread Martin Kretzschmar
Just want to add that contrary to what I said in comment 28, the
workaround works for me too. Don't know what was wrong previously.

[Bug 52405] Re: gnome-panel eats 50% cpu for half an hour and flickers

2006-08-23 Thread Martin Kretzschmar
For me, removing the file helps only temporarily. With the file, I get
high cpu load immediately, without it only after some time.

[Bug 54142] Re: (edgy) Gnome-panel causes 100% cpu usage

2006-07-28 Thread Martin Kretzschmar
Another me too. CPU usage goes up into the 90%s after opening the
Applications menu for the first time (I'm not using the menu applet,
only Alt+F1). Applications menu flickers.
