[Bug 807489] [NEW] gedit uses %100 cpu while opening and editing some css files
Public bug reported: Though it is not the case for many css files, curiously gedit slows down ridiculously when tring to open and edit this particular css file, which is not that large. It is in the attachments, the css file for wptouch skin ported to mediawiki. Public bug reported: Binary package hint: evolution I used apport when submitting this, so all the needed information should be available in some form. How to reproduce the bug: 1. Start Evolution 2. Create a new message. 3. Fill in the recipient, the subject and the content. 4. Select a portion of the content with the mouse. 5. Ctrl C and Ctrl V in sequence (fast maybe). (It may also occur with Ctrl X and Ctrl V) 6. Evolution crashes. Attached is the backtrace of the crash with gdb. Cheers. Lyrae, it is not still working on my side. But I noticed that when I had a problem with my GUI and I was reverted back to the default gnome skin, I had found the problem solved.
