[Bug 867976] [NEW] For long folder names, Nautilus navigation panel becomes empty

2011-10-04 Thread Michael Lazarev
Public bug reported:

With the new design for the upcoming Oneric, the problem became sharp.
Look at the screenshot at http://tinypic.com/r/dpwjh2/7 : here's how navigation
panel looks like: no folder buttons, no back, forward and search buttons.
Novice user not knowing about keyboard shortcuts will be completely lost.

Why won't you use ellipsis feature and maximum width constraint for path
buttons?
It shouldn't be hard, and all required options have been for a long time in GTK.

ProblemType: Bug
DistroRelease: Ubuntu 11.10
Package: nautilus 1:3.2.0-0ubuntu5
ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 3.0.0-12.19-generic 3.0.4

Re: [Bug 432191] totem crashed with SIGSEGV in g_object_set_valist()

2010-07-06 Thread Michael Lazarev
I cannot reproduce this bug anymore with GStreamer 0.10.28 on Lucid.
So, it looks fixed.

[Bug 542806] Re: In chat rooms, empathy should not scroll to the bottom whenever a new message is received.

2010-04-10 Thread Michael Lazarev
I just nominated this bug for Lucid.
I confirm that the patch by Nicolò Chieffo fixes this bug.
Given that, I hope it won't be hard for developers to include it into Lucid.

[Bug 465224] [NEW] Empathy must show the topic of a jabber chat

2009-10-30 Thread Michael Lazarev
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: empathy

Empathy shows a topic of IRC chat, but also must show the topic of a jabber
chat.
I.e. if you visit ubu...@conference.jabber.ru there must be a topic line on the
top of chat tab.
There can be important information there, e.g. how to get a voice.
Pidgin does this.

[Bug 448805] Re: Totem Visualizations Freeze When Seeking

2009-10-17 Thread Michael Lazarev
This error is perfectly reproducible for me, I reproduced this on any computer
I tried.
Just open
/usr/share/example-content/Ubuntu_Free_Culture_Showcase/InTheCircle.oga which
is supplied as an example on install disk, with totem, and seek. The visual
effect will freeze, and it's not necessarily GOOM. The same happens with any of
them: libvisual, Monoscope.

[Bug 269920] Re: gnome-font-viewer missing in gnome-control-center

2009-03-01 Thread Michael Lazarev
@C.Kontros

I am sorry to ask a stupid question, but how is that?
You say thumbnails and the simple viewer are gone for intrepid.
Does it mean that these features will only be available to users who upgrade to
Jaunty, and will never be available in Intrepid? And if so, what are the
reasons for that?
