[Bug 1795483] Re: Experimental setting to enable fractional Hi-DPI scaling offers no option larger than 200% on 15.6 inch, 3840 x 2160 pixel display (Dell XPS 15 9575)
I'm using this patch on hirsute since the day Marco created it and it's working fine for me with the package from the ci-train manually installed. It is working just fine on the Dell XPS 15 9575, where I'm using 250% scaling. For the verification now, I've removed the package, enabled the proposed repo and installed gnome-control-center from there. Then I changed scaling a bit down and back up to 250. Everything working with that too. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-control-center in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1795483 Title: Experimental setting to enable fractional Hi-DPI scaling offers no option larger than 200% on 15.6 inch, 3840 x 2160 pixel display (Dell XPS 15 9575) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-control-center/+bug/1795483/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

[Bug 1596330] [NEW] AVRCP not working
Public bug reported: AVRCP is still not working. I've digged a bit into it and it seems the reason is that mpris-proxy fails to introspect the MPRIS interface of media-hub. The reason for that seems to be that dbus-cpp does not correctly reply to GetAll property requests on D-Bus. I'm not entirely sure if it's an issue in libdbus-cpp, or wrong usage of it in media-hub. ** Affects: canonical-developer-experience Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Affects: dbus-cpp (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Affects: media-hub (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Also affects: media-hub (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Also affects: dbus-cpp (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to dbus-cpp in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1596330 Title: AVRCP not working To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/canonical-developer-experience/+bug/1596330/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 1587458] [NEW] Software update notification triggers way too often
*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 1580836 *** https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1580836 Public bug reported: The new software update notification introduced in xenial triggers way too often. For instance right now I dist-upgraded my system, rebooted and upon login I get that message. Also I get it like once per hour, regardless if I actually upgrade or not, it keeps on coming. [Bug 1504057] [NEW] Bluetooth icon should turn blue when there's traffic happening
Public bug reported: The Bluetooth icon in the panel is currently an outline icon when Bluetooth is turned on but nothing is connected, it will turn to the filled icon when something connects. Additionally it would be useful if the icon would turn blue when there is actual traffic happening. This is something I've been used to from previous phones and it helps greatly to identify the state of the connection. For instance, the Music player playing music to a Bluetooth headset would be immediately visible when you've put the headset away already and forgot to stop the music player. Also, it causes bug reports of failed connections to be more detailed as this gives details to the developer whether the connection failed when establishing the ACL link or if something failed after a profile has been connected already. ** Affects: indicator-bluetooth (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to indicator-bluetooth in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1504057 Title: Bluetooth icon should turn blue when there's traffic happening To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/indicator-bluetooth/+bug/1504057/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 1390084] [NEW] ubuntu-location-service is leaking memory a lot
Public bug reported: Yesterday evening I tested two applications using positioning. Everything was working fine. I can't remember if I have closed the apps or not, but today I noticed unity8-dash being stuck in a restart-loop. All open/recent apps were killed by the oom killer (lifecycled) and the dash keeps getting killed by the oom killer and respawned by upstart. logging into the phone reveals that ubuntu-location-service is taking approx 1GB of memory, causing everything else to be killed. [Bug 1287160] [NEW] Menu is located in gear icon at the upper right corner but not in the menu bar
Public bug reported: Unlike all other applications in Ubuntu, which put their menu into the top panel of unity, the document viewer keeps its menu in the little gear icon at the upper right corner. Unity's panel still has a menu when the document viewer is focused, but that basically doesn't hold any entries at all.
