I would, but since 12.10 is using an older version of nautilus, I'm guessing the chance of the fix being applied to 12.10 is pretty slim unless you backport it. Also, I'm hoping that Ubuntu move onto another file manager that doesn't theaten to remove features every release. The gnome team has some warped vision that I don't agree with anymore. I'd prefer using Marlin over Nautilus any day. I'm thinking this fix wouldn't require too much effort. Public bug reported: If you press CTRL + L to bring up the address field, left click in one spot, then hold SHIFT and left click in another spot. It will highlight the text between the two selections. You are unable to do this when renaming a file. It makes highlighting large portions of a name very tedious and should be fixed. [Bug 438755] [NEW] Volume applet does not unmute when slider is put past 0
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-media When the volume slider is put to the bottom, volume gets muted. When you put it back up, the slider jumps back to the bottom and stays muted. Sometimes it will unmute, but you can get it to unmute every time by sliding all the way up to the panel. Also, using the scroll wheel will unmute. When sliding up, it should unmute automatically just like in Sound Preferences.
