[Bug 840875] Re: Empathy sends a notification Password required without any supplementary info
I'm also affected by this issue, however I think the message is send because I have it as a Startup Application. On login no network connection is available, which causes the messages and just after these messages appear a network connection is available and everything connects properly. If I close the application and start it with a working connection I do not see any notifications. So a fix might be to first check for a network connection before empathy tries to connect. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to empathy in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/840875 Title: Empathy sends a notification Password required without any supplementary info To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/empathy/+bug/840875/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

[Bug 576744] Re: Unable to modify brightness when the screen is locked
This bug affects me as well. There are a lot of use cases where this happens either a user disables the screen (working on a second monitor) or the automatic features disable it. If the PC/laptop is then locked there is no way of enabling the backlight. This should be enabled for the main shortcuts like: - Backlight - Keyboard backlight - Volume And could be enabled for the media buttons (play/pause) I experience this bug multiple times a week so as Tomi Pieviläinen said the importance could be higher. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-power-manager in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/576744 Title: Unable to modify brightness when the screen is locked -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

[Bug 637702] Re: Prompted to unlock keyring twice on log in
Found a temporary fix and maybe a cause of the problem There are two keyrings one called 'login' and the other is called 'default' and is the default keyring. During login only the 'login' keyring gets unlocked, thus when connection via WiFi it asks for the password of the 'default' keyring. So I set the 'login' keyring as default and removed the 'default' keyring. And now I don't see the unlock screen anymore. Although this is a fix it should be clear that the 'automatically unlock keyring' option should work. -- Prompted to unlock keyring twice on log in https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/637702 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-keyring in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
