My idea comes one day late as the deadline was yesterday :( OpenITP is looking for projects to fund. Eligible projects must work on improving users' ability to circumvent censorship and surveillance on the Internet. I have adapted the patch of Sergey to the latest intrepid version of file-roller (2.24.0-0ubuntu1) :). This is my first patch (well and it's not mine...), so someone with experience should revise it. The only thing that is missing in this patch2.0 is the part of the translation to russian. I have not added it because gedit doesn't display the characters :? By the moment, it works. I can confirm it under Intrepid fully updated. Then everytime that I run gedit from terminal, it consumed 100% of cpu until I have opened an old txt file that I had in my desktop.
