[Bug 357673] Re: No notification when sliding audio volume, muting volume on ThinkPad X23, X24, X31, X32, X41, X60, T22, T40, T42, T60, R50e, R51, R52

2010-04-13 Thread Paulus Esterhazy
On a T60, I now see ThinkPad Console Audio Control, which responds to
the volume buttons. As expected, no OSD notification though.

[Bug 546035] [NEW] keyboard layout indicator applet gone

2010-03-24 Thread Paulus Esterhazy
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gnome-applets

In lucid, gnome-keyboard-applet isn't present any more. It used to show
the name of the current keyboard layout (which can still be changed
either through the configuration dialog or keyboard shortcuts) and lets
you easily switch, say, from US to German keyboard. This looks like a
pretty bad feature to drop. AFAIK present in Beta1.

[Bug 238212] Re: F-spot crashes when uploading to picasaweb

2008-09-28 Thread Paulus Esterhazy
F-spot in hardy crashed for me, too. The problem in my case was that I
entered incorrect login information. A work-around is to remove the
offending entry in your gnome-keyring, which can be easily done through
Applications / Preferences / Passwords / Passwords.

Re: [Bug 79030] Re: gnome-video-thumbnailer uses all available CPU power when using bittorrent

2008-03-13 Thread Paulus Esterhazy
Thanks for replying. I don't regularly use the program any more, so I
can't tell if it has disappeared. So, as far as I am concerned, you can
close the bug.

[Bug 79030] Re: gnome-video-thumbnailer uses all available CPU power when using bittorrent

2007-07-08 Thread Paulus Esterhazy
Not sure why the importance is set to zero. This is a genuine bug:
gnome-bideo-thumbnailer should never use 100% CPU for a prolonged period
of time, no matter what the circumstances.

This bug is annoying, and comes up often when downloading video files
into a folder and simultaneously viewing the folder in nautlius.

[Bug 40660] Re: cannot open properties

2006-07-06 Thread Paulus Esterhazy
I'm experiencing the same bug. German Ubuntu dapper (no updates), same
version as Danno, upgraded from breezy.

Choosing properties from a printer's context menu makes gnome-cups-
manager unresponsive. Restarting cupsys, as reported above, seems to
help.
