[Bug 47495] Re: Ubuntu-artwork must depend on required gtk2-engine-*
I would prefer all non ubuntulooks themes, since ubuntu-artwork will bloat the system otherwise. But if you still want to do that spilit out gnome-icon-theme-human and metacity-theme-human, so one can install them seperatly. [Bug 39846] creates partitions in wrong order
Public bug reported: Affects: gparted (Ubuntu) Severity: Normal Priority: (none set) Status: Unconfirmed Description: if you fill up your free space from behind, the partitions are also created that way, meaning that the last partition might become hda5.(in extended) If you now fix the partition order with fidisk, gparted does not recognize them any more. [Bug 33002] Re: logout dialog UI objections
I thought about this thing while reading Andreas Post in the Forums. I have no real preference for any of the dialogs, but I want to share my thoughts. I think there are basically two motivations, which can drive the user to end his session: 1. he wants to change the state of the PC (reboot, shutdown, hibernate etc.) 2. he wants to change the state of the session (lock screen, logout, change user) this two topics are not really connected to each other and therefore you can set a default for each, which will be chose after a timeout. I'd choose shutdown and lock screen - I think this is the best choice for the user if he forgets what he initially wanted to do. You are alreadyrespecting this by putting the according buttons in two seperate lines - so why not make two seperate dilogs out of it and gaining the default preset wished by Soren Hauberg. -- logout dialog UI objections https://launchpad.net/malone/bugs/33002 -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

[Bug 34446] Re: Suggestion: ship breezy human theme
I dont think that another theme should be shipped - choice is great, but the the main aspect of default is that you cant choose. And if you think of a user which is able to go to the preferences and switch back to classic, you can also say that he will be able to do the last step of going to art.gnome.org or something to get the theme he likes. so putting ubuntu-classic there or in the repositories should be enough IMO. -- Suggestion: ship breezy human theme https://launchpad.net/malone/bugs/34446 -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
