[Bug 1154713] Re: Hidden files don't appear after selecting 'show' option

2013-09-11 Thread Peter M
I'm also having this problem. I just installed 13.04 and I think the
problem started right away (ie, not due to a settings change that I
made).

Workaround: instead of 'usb-creator-gtk' use 'unetbootin'

[Bug 533713] Re: Missing plugin: gstreamer|0 .10|totem|Décodeur private/teletext|decoder-p rivate/teletext (Décodeur private/teletext)

2010-11-20 Thread Peter M. Clausen
I think its strange this bug has low prio because it means I cant use
gstreamer to watch recorded TV-shows AT ALL, in my case recorded by
mythbuntu. Of course there is the standard work around to use mplayer /
vlc...

It also means I cant edit recorded files using Pitivi, default video
tool in lucid.

[Bug 661724] [NEW] Print of document scattered characters over document, figures OK

2010-10-16 Thread Peter M. Clausen
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: evince

Print of document produces scattered characters all over document,
figures are OK

Display is OK. It seems similar to bug #457574 but I added a new one,
since its fixed for Hardy.

Whats more strange is that print to PDF and PS produces a correct
document.

To reproduce:
- Load attached pdf in evince
- Print preview (print preview as well as print is corrupt)

Workaround:
- Print to pdf
- Open new pdf and print is (correct print preview as well as print)

I dont know if its important - my printer is a network printer over
Wlan, HP deskjet 930C, with standard driver from ubuntu. It prints
without problems (corrupt documents, as well as the correct pdf after
printing to pdf)

Then, logging off, changing to my user acount choosing English as a

2010-05-16 Thread Peter M. Clausen
Changing to confirmed. There is no crash report because gdm did not
crash only the Clock-applet.

So please; tell me where I can find the crash info from the applets and
I will upload the infos.

** Changed in: gnome-panel (Ubuntu)

[Bug 528830] Re: Must log in twice to gdm in Lucid

2010-03-14 Thread Peter M. Clausen
*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 532047 ***
https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/532047

I have the same problem on a dell laptop Latitude D505 and Ubuntu Lucid 10.04
32-bit
$ uname -a
 Linux clausen-laptop 2.6.32-16-generic #25-Ubuntu SMP Tue Mar 9 16:33:52 UTC
2010 i686 GNU/Linux

I am not certain, but I think that kernel 2.6.32-15 did NOT have this
problem.

For me it only happens on login. By software installation and so on I
only enter passphrase once.
