[Bug 458334] Re: Fails repeatably with "DBus error org.gtk.Private.RemoteVolumeMonitor.NotFound: The given volume was not found"
I just tried USB Creator for the first time on 9.10 and can confirm this bug is still there. Everything seems to work fine if you don't use the format option. Having read some of the other comments here I'm a little bit perplexed that some people think a workaround is good enough. If a user interface displays an option to format, that is exactly what it should do. -- Fails repeatably with "DBus error org.gtk.Private.RemoteVolumeMonitor.NotFound: The given volume was not found" https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/458334 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to nautilus in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

That says Completed: 2008-06-25, yet my system (Hardy) is completely up to date and this problem still occurs... [Bug 231091] Re: evolution does not recognize a meeting
What about Hardy?? This is the long term support version and I received a meeting request 2 days ago that showed up as plain text. Turning off the prefer plain-text plugin fixed it immediately, but why is the patch still not available in update manager? [Bug 235403] Re: Hangs when Loading a pdf
I've managed to reproduce this problem with eps files. Attached is a screen shot of System Monitor showing Evince spawning what appears to be two identical gs processes. Note that these gs processes are using 26% CPU each. This varies up to around 40% and just hangs there indefinitely. ** Attachment added: "Screenshot-System Monitor.png" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/15497532/Screenshot-System%20Monitor.png -- Hangs when Loading a pdf https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/235403 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug assignee. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 235403] Re: Hangs when Loading a pdf
It happens with different pdf files not just one in particular. I've also noticed it with eps files. In the case of eps files it happened yesterday. I discovered that when closing the file, a process called gs was still listed in System Monitor. Each time I opened a new eps file a new gs file was spawned, but not closed when I closed the file. Progressively the system would slow down until I could no longer open a file until I manually killed these gs processes. I haven't been able to reproduce the problem with pdf files so I can't see if the reason is similar for these. -- Hangs when Loading a pdf https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/235403 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug assignee. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
