I have the same problem with eboard 1.1.3 on Debian Buster. [Bug 46828] Preview sound impossible to stop after sound file is removed
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: nautilus Put the cursor over a sound file in Nautilus so that it plays a preview of the file, then right-click on it. Select Move to Wastebasket. The sound will continue eventhough the file is removed -- even after the Wastebasket is emptied.
