[Bug 1808710] Re: !xcb_xlib_threads_sequence_lost error with GTK2 applications

2019-10-01 Thread Peter S
I have the same problem with eboard 1.1.3 on Debian Buster. The program
build is quite old (2016), hence it seems that the problem is with some
high-level library.

I too am seeing crashes in gnome-power-management:

Gdk-ERROR **: The program 'gnome-power-manager' received an X Window System
error.
This probably reflects a bug in the program.
The error was 'BadAtom (invalid Atom parameter)'.

  (Note to programmers: normally, X errors are reported asynchronously;
that is, you will receive the error a while after causing it.
To debug your program, run it with the --sync command line
option to change this behavior. You can then get a meaningful
backtrace from your debugger if you break on the gdk_x_error() function.)
aborting...

[Bug 69564] Re: Troubles while play streaming video

2008-04-19 Thread Peter S
I confirm this bug on Hardy. None of the sites I've tested (mostly
Swedish, like http://svt.se and http://dn.se) which use the Windows
Media Codec have worked since I upgraded to Hardy.

[Bug 46828] Preview sound impossible to stop after sound file is removed

2006-05-26 Thread Peter S
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: nautilus

Put the cursor over a sound file in Nautilus so that it plays a preview
of the file, then right-click on it. Select Move to Wastebasket. The
sound will continue eventhough the file is removed -- even after the
Wastebasket is emptied. Very annoying since you can't stop it from
playing.

** Affects: nautilus (Ubuntu)
   Severity: Normal
   Priority: (none set)
 Status: Unconfirmed
