[Bug 344288] [NEW] [jaunty] battery icon does not show correct level relative to the battery charge
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-power-manager The battery icon does not show the correct level relative to the battery charge. Example, my battery was almost dead, so it showed a battery icon with only a sliver of red left, i plugged my AC adapter in, and it started charging. Even when it got to 27%, where it should of moved out of the 'red' range and into the orange at least, it was still stuck on red. It does this for all levels, i plugged in my AC adapter when it was at 50%, and it stayed half full even when my battery was completely charged. [Bug 230088] [NEW] Volume Applet still alternates volume % and mute while sliding/changing volume
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-applets I know this is already reported here: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-applets/+bug/126333 but that says a fix has already been released but i am running a fully updated hardy installation and i still get the problem. I click on the volume applet and i use the scroll wheel to change it, it goes from like 64% to like 12% and then i keep scrolling up and down and it jumps around randomly, same thing if i try to click it and slide it that way. I also notice the left channel of my sound goes out randomly when im sliding the volume as well I dunno what i need to attach to help fix this problem, so if you need anything just ask and i will post it. ** Affects: gnome-applets (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Volume Applet still alternates volume % and mute while sliding/changing volume https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/230088 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-applets in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

Confirmed fixed for Gutsy (tribe 5) to choose which volume channel the volume multimedia buttons change, you have to go to system prefs sound, and at the bottom of the first tab there is a box called 'default mixer tracks', choose the channel that you want to control with the multimedia buttons. and then it works :D -- Volume keyboard shortcut fails to increase volume https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/36302 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a direct subscriber. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
