Problem: Whenever an user disconnects a default source or sink, the icon
on the panel disappears.

How to reproduce:

1) If the system has only one output or input, connect an additional
input or output device (like bluetooth headset), such that you have more
than one input or output device.

2) Set the recently connected device as a default input/output.

3) Disconnect it. Now, you should see that the icon disappears.
