[Bug 894239] Re: Nautilus color gone; folder file icons all look the same; cannot distinguish between them

2011-11-28 Thread RandyBrinson
I use automatic login since I am the only user/account on this desktop.
The problem happened after each closing and reopening of nautilus under
my login. I did not try 'sudo nautilus'. The wrong icon (file icon) was
also displaying for the two folders on my Unity desktop. After rebooting
11.10, nautilus behaved normally and has continued to work as expected.
Sorry...since the problem seems to be permanently resolved, I cannot
create a screenshot. Corrupt memory or cache?

[Bug 894239] [NEW] Nautilus color gone; folder file icons all look the same; cannot distinguish between them

2011-11-23 Thread RandyBrinson
Public bug reported:

In 3.2.1 Nautilus, the only colour to be found is on the back forward
arrows. Everything else is black white. Folder icons are no longer
folders. As with file icons, the folder icons look like a sheet of paper
with the top, right corner folded over (dog-eared).
