[Bug 249235] [NEW] some images do not display in html message
Public bug reported: 1) $ lsb_release -rd Description: Ubuntu 8.04.1 Release: 8.04 2) $ apt-cache policy evolution evolution: Installed: 2.22.3.1-0ubuntu1 Candidate: 2.22.3.1-0ubuntu1 Version table: *** 2.22.3.1-0ubuntu1 0 500 http://gb.archive.ubuntu.com hardy-updates/main Packages 500 http://gb.archive.ubuntu.com hardy-proposed/main Packages 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status 2.22.2-0ubuntu1.2 0 500 http://gb.archive.ubuntu.com hardy-security/main Packages 2.22.1-0ubuntu3 0 500 http://gb.archive.ubuntu.com hardy/main Packages 3) HTML messages to display all images. 4) Some images in an HTML message do not display. When displaying the attached message in Evolution, most images display, but one does not. When right mouse clicking on the broken image the link goes to http://www.diyframing.com:80/newsletters/images/beacon.cfm?NewsletterID=49 and when choosing open in browser, displays fine in Firefox (it looks like someone's signature). I have other emails with similar problems, this seems to be the simplest message. Images are displayed fine when viewing from gmail. It doesn't seem possible to attach two files otherwise a screenshot might help. [Bug 196757] Re: camera automount prevents import
Hi, As of 4 April 2008 update, f-spot is now starting up when the camera is switched on and images are importing fine. Thanks again for the prompt response and taking care of this. [Bug 196757] Re: camera automount prevents import
Hi and thanks for looking at this. I've just tried Hardy Alpha 6. Not sure if this is now the correct behaviour as the camera no longer mounts, but, for some reason F-spot-import does not automagically launch, perhaps there is something wrong with my setup? System->Preferences->Removable Drives and Media says under Cameras tab with check box checked (also unchecked and rechecked just in case) Digital Camera Import digital photographs when connected, Command f-spot-import The camera is recognised in the usb ports: [EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ lsusb Bus 005 Device 001: ID : Bus 004 Device 001: ID : Bus 003 Device 001: ID : Bus 002 Device 001: ID : Bus 001 Device 008: ID 04a9:3116 Canon, Inc. Digital IXUS 750 (PTP mode) Bus 001 Device 001: ID : and doing an f-spot-import from the command line works fine. albeit with a lot of messages.
