[Bug 50198] Re: Timeout has expired error on resume from hibernate

2010-08-07 Thread Robert Entner
Does this bug really deserve Importance=low? At least my wife complains
about this every time, also I see this as really annoying making Ubuntu
look unready.

[Bug 371312] [NEW] cpufreq-applet: shows 2.54/2.53/1.6/800 Steps

2009-05-03 Thread Robert Entner
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gnome-applets

The cpufreq-applet shows the following Frequencies:
2,54 GHz

Why are there two nearly identical frequencies?

 PATH=(custom, user)

[Bug 350955] [NEW] cpufreq-applet: cpu scaling starts always with performance should be ondemand

2009-03-29 Thread Robert Entner
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gnome-applets

On Intrepid the cpu frequency scaling was set to ondemand after
reboot. In Janty beta it is now performance. Is this on purpose? Then
it should at least respect my last setting before shutdown.

On multi-core I have to change the scaling on each cpu separately. On
Intrepid changing CPU0 to ondemand changed the behavior on both -
which I find more reasonable.

[Bug 220164] Re: Cannot mount volume

2008-05-02 Thread Robert Entner
Thanks for the command, its output lead me to have a look into /etc/fstab and
delete the entry for sdb1 -solved!
Maybe the reason is I used an USB stick to install the distribution as my
notebook has no CDROM.

[Bug 220164] Re: Cannot mount volume

2008-04-26 Thread Robert Entner
The same here on freshly installed Hardy 8.04 final. Automatic mount of EXT3
partitions on my USB drive works, mounting the FAT32 on the same disk gives the
error above. Also the FAT32 partition on my USB keydrive can not be mounted.
Manually using mount works.

Seems to be a severe bug on the otherwise very-very nice Hardy.

[Bug 220164] Re: Cannot mount volume

2008-04-26 Thread Robert Entner
Tried the same on my Athlon 1600+ desktop system and the stick mounted
without problems.

On my Acer Travelmate C111 with Intel ULV the above error occured. Both
are freshly installed with Hardy 8.04 final yesterday and had no
problems on Gutsy.

Thanks for your effort,
Robert
