[Bug 252098] Re: Removed CD does not disappear from desktop
The problem is, I can not reproduce it, it was a unique phenomenon. I removed a CD from the drive by pressing on the drives open button, the CD came out, but the icon did not disappear. Normally, the icon disappears automatically. I am using Ubuntu 8.04.1 ** Changed in: nautilus (Ubuntu) Status: Incomplete = New -- Removed CD does not disappear from desktop https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/252098 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug assignee. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 236507] Re: Extreme lags in Hardy Heron
It is complete, because we figured out that the Dim screen when inactive function is doing something nasty with the system performance. I am using a german Desktop environment so the upper function is a free translation from the german language. ** Changed in: gnome-power-manager (Ubuntu) Status: Incomplete = New -- Extreme lags in Hardy Heron https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/236507 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-power-manager in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

[Bug 184833] Re: gnome-background-properties freezes when removing the current background from the file system
Maybe this could be helpful. I used this background on my notebook and on my desktop computer for a long time. The wallpaper was located in /usr/share/backgrounds/ and it has been added as background by using the add button which opens the file chooser dialog to select a background. One day I removed the background with 'sudo rm /usr/share/backgrounds/stormgreen.png', but the stormgreen background was still the current background of the gnome desktop. Then I opend the dialog to select another background, I clicked on the add button, a file chooser dialog opens, I closed the file chooser dialog, I closed the background selection window, I reopened the background selection window and it was frozen. Maybe the Problem depends on the German (Deutsch) localization. I hope this helps a little bit more. I have crashed the dialog of my notebook and the dialog of my desktop computer with this method. ** Attachment added: The used background http://launchpadlibrarian.net/11493720/stormgreen.png -- gnome-background-properties freezes when removing the current background from the file system https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/184833 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug contact for gnome-control-center in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
