[Bug 1741058] [NEW] gnome-shell crashed with signal 5 in g_log_default_handler()

2018-01-03 Thread Scott Lewin
Public bug reported:

I received this error message on logging into cinnamon. This error
message popped up with out me doing anything other than logging in. I
do not know if it is related, but before logging in with cinnamon I
logged in with openbox which was having problems itself.

[Bug 1517548] [NEW] shotwell crashed with SIGSEGV in g_type_check_instance_cast()

2015-11-18 Thread Scott Lewin
Public bug reported:

I was trying to delete a jpg image in Shotwell using the delete key when
the program became unresponsive. Shotwell then crashed with this
report.

I expected the program to delete the image and continue running.

I do not know if this helps, but previous to this action I was going
through a large amount of photos and tagging them.

[Bug 12893] Re: Shouldn't put .Trash-$USER on removable devices

There needs to be a separate way to empty the trash on the volume. At
the moment I am forced to empty the main trash can which I do not like
to do very often.

[Bug 24630] Re: Evince crashes when zooming PDF-File to 400%

2009-12-02 Thread Scott Lewin
+1 in Karmic. Evince is very slow when opening pdf files and crashes
many times on resizing. It does not even need to be to 400%, any size.
I have attached a pdf file that always causes the problems for me.

Thorsten does have a point. This is a regression in usability and will
be more difficult on the new user and if Ubuntu is to compete toe to toe
with Windows and Mac it needs to be user friendly.

[Bug 232426] Re: Tomboy crashes with "&" in link

2008-11-13 Thread Scott Lewin
+1 in intrepid. I'm using Ubuntu 8.10 with Gnome 2.24.1 and Tomboy
version 0.12.0 and I have Tomboy crash everytime when I highlight the
word "Science & Technology Page" and then press the Link button. I get
the message "Tomboy Notes" has quit unexpectedly". This happens every
time. I went to /var/crash, but it was empty.
