The daemon was already running, and killing and restarting it didn't
seem to have any effect. Additionally, when I disable Compiz, the
window borders are correctly applied, though they are missing the
min/max/close buttons. As I haven't been able to dig up anyone else
experiencing this issue, I may just re-install when Jaunty is released.
