Public bug reported: Binary package hint: totem Opening a video file that's apparently and XVID MPEG4 encoded mediafile, won't play in Lucid, with all gstreamer plugins installed. It says the codec is missing and the codec search doesn't return any findings. no packages with the requested plugins found: XVID MPEG-4 decoder but I have every gstreamer plugin set known to man installed. what am I doing wrong?
