shortcut and having Allow different layouts for individual windows
option enabled. In this configuration layout switch should be processed
when shortcut is triggered or when I switch to another window. Moreover
to switch layout means two things. Firstly it means to switch keyboard
mappings themself and secondly to change what layout indicator shows.

+   The problem itself: mappings which is used is often not the same as
indicator shows. I experimented a little to find out what is wrong and
now I see that the mistake is in processing switch-window event which
always changes mappings used but doesn't refresh what indicator is
  showing...

[Bug 55309] Search for Files Manual - erroneus option description

2006-08-05 Thread sergej
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gnome-utils

in §3.2. To Add Search Options, the option Contains the text show
this explanation:

Search for a file by filename. Enter a full filename or a partial
filename with wildcards in the field provided. Use * to indicate a
sequence of characters. Use ? to indicate a single character. The search
is case sensitive.

Instead, it should be something like (don't blame my english...):

Search for a file containing the entered text. Enter a text string in
the field provided. The search is case insensitive.

** Affects: gnome-utils (Ubuntu)
 Importance: Untriaged
 Status: Unconfirmed
