I also noticed my login page does not look correct. It looks like it is setting my monitor resolution very low because I see the normal image but it is zoomed in. The username field is almost not visable along the bottom and I can not read Ubuntu across the top. I have the exact same issue. I am running the same version of Ubuntu with Nvidia module.
