[Bug 1798166] Re: “Mouse battery low” notification can't be disabled

I've tried tz's workaround and it doesn't work for me. I'm on Ubuntu 14.04 with up to date updates. [Bug 659841] Re: gnome-volume-control : master volume slider always displays 100%
The 100% does not represent the current volume. It marks the position on the slider where the volume is at 100% without amplification. If you move the slider to the right of the 100% mark then pulseaudio amplifies the sound. You can see the same behavior in VLC where you can have 200% volume. Again, 100% is maximum volume, without amplification. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-media in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/659841 Title: gnome-volume-control : master volume slider always displays 100% To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-media/+bug/659841/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 726902] Re: Loss of vsync when using Metacity.
I'm getting video tearing on an Asus EEE PC 901 using compiz+unity. I've tried xv, gl, gl2 as video outputs for mplayer which all result in video tearing. There is no video tearing if I use xv:adaptor=1 (video overlay) as video output. I have sync to vblank set in ccsm/opengl. Let me know what else I can do to help fix this bug. Thanks. [Bug 48382] nautilus can not change permissions in ssh session
Public bug reported: When I attempt to change properties on a file I copied to my server with ssh in nautilus all the controls are greyed out and the message: You are not the owner, so you can not change these permissions. Is displayed. The user used to log into ssh is indeed the owner of the file. Perhaps it is comparing the user id to the user id of the local user, not the one it used to log into the server as. This worked correctly in 5.10. I just switched to Flight X (whatever was May 31st). Also if I log into a terminal and change the permissions, and then copy the file again and overwrite the permissions are reset. This might be related (deletes, writes, believes it can't set permissions?). This bug isn't a local security issue, but it is certainly a real security issue. ** Affects: nautilus (Ubuntu) Importance: Medium Assignee: Ubuntu Desktop Bugs Status: Needs Info -- nautilus can not change permissions in ssh session https://launchpad.net/bugs/48382 -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
