Current workarounds for Lucid: 1) Google Chrome, minimum version 6.0.458 and enable the PDF plugin with about:plugins. 2) Adobe Acrobat Reader 9.0 from Canonical partner repository. [Bug 476091] [NEW] Karmic regression printing Chinese
Public bug reported: Printing Traditional Chinese from OO.o is broken in Karmic, output is similar to PDF display problems in Jaunty when poppler-data is not installed. Screen copy looks correct, exporting to PDF and viewing in Evince looks correct. Converting PDF to PS using pdftops and viewing in gs, or printing via Evince shows some characters with outline instead of solid.
