Yes I'm using nvidia propritary driver but unlike bug #1730241 I have not disabled it. I can also mention that changing my theme from Ambiance to Adwaita removed the issue. When doing so I get a message sayi9ng it crached because of a assert error but it can't be reported since the message was not found. This is the reason I did post this by running apport manually.
