[Bug 162936] Re: why does ubuntu see 2 cpu when i have only one?

2007-11-18 Thread Thomas Babut
It's not a bug, it's a feature. :)

You see 2 processors, because of the hyper-threading technology from Intel. You
can read more about this here:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hyper-threading

And I don't see an excessive CPU load in your top output.

2007-11-15 Thread Thomas Babut
Could you please post the output of the following two commands? Perhaps
your CPU supports Hyper-Threading.

# cat /proc/cpuinfo
# top -b -n 1

[Bug 162973] Re: Crash when typping peu

2007-11-15 Thread Thomas Babut
What Ubuntu version are you running?

After going through all your described steps my rhythmbox on Ubuntu 7.10
does not crash. Do you have a lot artists/songs in your list or only a
few or perhaps songs containing any special characters?

[Bug 160311] Re: Window Resize Difficult (Window Border Thickness)

2007-11-13 Thread Thomas Babut
I am running 1600x1200 resolution and I have to say, that Robert is
right. It's not very comfortable to resize a window. Is there an easy
way to change this?

Thanks.
