[Bug 877339] [NEW] Totem crashes instantly on start, freezes the whole system
Public bug reported: When trying to launch totem or try to play a video with it, totem crashes the system completly. There are no other options than a hard reset (even magic sysrq isn't working). I was not able to get any further information. When starting totem via terminal, there are no massages before the crash occours. Totem shows up half blended (seems to crash while fading in the window). I'm not using Unity, instead I'm on Gnome-Shell. With Unity from a live- usb, this does not happen. I've tested totem 3.2 from Ricotz Testing PPA, the error does not occure with that version. [Bug 722281] [NEW] [Natty] Svg Support is broken
Public bug reported: It seems as if the support for svg-files is broken on Natty. SVG-Files aren't shown as preview, aren't vieable with eog and aren't used as icons. You can see this (as example) when you install synapse. Icons that would be shown in highres normally are very blurry. Also some icons are not shown in the main menu, instead a placeholder is used. Afaik for the discog Service no account was needed. It's (in my personal opinion) not very good to force people to create an account somewhere to use this. [Bug 542300] Re: Missing Menu Entries - Lucid Beta 1
I think here is a big misunderstanding. What other Users above mean are the hidden Entrys that where activatable via Alacarte. Maybe the Bug should be filed against it? -- Missing Menu Entries - Lucid Beta 1 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/542300 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-menus in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 437429] Re: No GUI to configure/disable login sound
Why reinventing the wheel? There is a configuration tool that offers the possibility to disable Loginsounds: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1358026 http://www.webupd8.org/2009/12/gdm-2-gui-configuration-tool-ubuntu.html -- No GUI to configure/disable login sound https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/437429 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gdm in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

[Bug 537275] Re: Regression: Gimp has no progressbar
I ran some tests. First, with Karmic Koala Live-CD and Gimp 2.6.7. I've attached a screenshot. I noticed that Gimp in Lucid has not only lost his Progressbar in the Statusbar but also the two Dropdownfields. Have look on the attached Karmic-Screenshot and you will see. ** Attachment added: statusbar_gimp_2.6.7_karmic.jpg http://launchpadlibrarian.net/41002663/statusbar_gimp_2.6.7_karmic.jpg -- Regression: Gimp has no progressbar https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/537275 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug assignee. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
