[Bug 371171] [NEW] When going 'up' from media, nautilus goes to /media instead of 'Computer'

2009-05-03 Thread Tom Jenkins
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: nautilus

Ubuntu 9.04, nautilus (1:2.26.2-0ubuntu1.)

More of a feature request than a bug. It would be very nice if when you
go 'up' from a device (for example a DVD or other removable storage),
you go back to 'Computer' (in 'Places'), like Windows handles it. It
would be more user friendly as, having gone 'down' from 'Computer', when
one goes back 'up', one should be again in 'Computer'. I imagine this
would confuse a lot of new users. The problem I guess is that nautilus's
'Computer' just links to the actual locations; opening a usb pen goes to
/media/pen instead of computer://pen.

Thanks.

[Bug 314386] [NEW] 'Next' when in shuffle sometimes goes to current track

2009-01-06 Thread Tom Jenkins
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: rhythmbox

Ubuntu 8.10 Intrepid Ibex

rhythmbox:
  Installed: 0.11.6svn20081008-0ubuntu4.2
  Candidate: 0.11.6svn20081008-0ubuntu4.2
  Version table:
 *** 0.11.6svn20081008-0ubuntu4.2 0
500 http://archive.ubuntu.com intrepid-updates/main Packages
100 /var/lib/dpkg/status
 0.11.6svn20081008-0ubuntu4 0
500 http://archive.ubuntu.com intrepid/main Packages

Sometimes when pressing 'Next' (or the corresponding media key) and
shuffle is on, rhythmbox will play the currently playing track again.
This is very noticeable in short playlists. Just needs a check to make
sure nextSong != curSong I guess...

Thanks
