[Bug 1192648] [NEW] Bluetooth showed an inactive after restoring Bluetooth state on boot
Public bug reported: Hi. I've recently enabled a feature in my BIOS which restores the previous Bluetooth state rather than turning it off every time I switch off my laptop. However, even though Bluetooth is turned on at boot this way, and is operational, the Bluetooth applet in the top bar thing is grey and the switch shows Bluetooth as 'off'. If Bluetooth is turned on, then I expect it to be shown as on by the operating system. I am running Ubuntu 13.04, fully up to date of course. Gnome-bluetooth 3.6.1-0ubuntu3. I will attach apport information soon. ** Affects: gnome-bluetooth (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-bluetooth in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1192648 Title: Bluetooth showed an inactive after restoring Bluetooth state on boot To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-bluetooth/+bug/1192648/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

[Bug 969513] Re: Nautilus bookmarks are not updated after username change
I wasn't able to reproduce the bug on Ubuntu 13.04. However, I had to use 'sudo usermod -m -d /home/user2 -l user2 user1' instead of the GUI, since Ubuntu 13.04 no longer includes a GUI for changing the username. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-control-center in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/969513 Title: Nautilus bookmarks are not updated after username change To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-control-center/+bug/969513/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 969513] [NEW] Nautilus bookmarks are not updated after username change
Public bug reported: Hello. After I installed my system, I realised that I set the username to laptop and called my machine tom. This annoyed me greatly, so I changed it using gnome-control-center. Later, I realised that when trying to open folders like Pictures and Videos by searching in the Unity dash, I would get an error similar to Could not find /home/laptop/Pictures. I expected the Unity dash to open my Pictures folder. To fix this, I edited the file /home/tom/.gtk-bookmarks so it reads: file:///home/tom/Documents file:///home/tom/Music file:///home/tom/Pictures file:///home/tom/Videos file:///home/tom/Downloads instead of: file:///home/laptop/Documents file:///home/laptop/Music file:///home/laptop/Pictures file:///home/laptop/Videos file:///home/laptop/Downloads Obviously, this should've been done by gnome-control-center. After 3-4 years of using Linux it took me a while to work out how to fix this, and an average user definitely would not know what to do in this situation.
