[Bug 86178] Re: [apport] evolution-exchange-storage crashed with SIGSEGV in g_str_hash()

2007-03-23 Thread Toni Heinonen
Well,

I'm not getting that error currently because it can't find my exchange
server, what with there being no chance of creating an account, because
the exchange server configuration screen won't let me insert the URL.

2007-03-22 Thread Toni Heinonen
You have been subscribed to a public bug:

Binary package hint: evolution-exchange

Just started evolution up with my exchange account configured and this
happened.

Also: not sure if this is a bug or not, but I can only insert my
username when configuring the exchange server. I can't set the server,
URL, etc. This is since recent upgrade in feisty.

[Bug 69525] Re: Port listeningn / registration broken (by design)

Sorry for still bitching, but now with network manager this happens upon
every boot (because the network isn't up yet when ekiga starts). So I
can't get ekiga to start automatically when I start X.

[Bug 69525] Re: Port listeningn / registration broken (by design)

2007-02-08 Thread Toni Heinonen
Yes, it is. This is by design, as I pointed out. It's in 2.0.3-0ubuntu5
as well as in snapshot 20070208-01-feisty.1 from snapshots.ekiga.net.

It goes as far as when starting ekiga when I have no network connection
for it being unfunctional until restarted (even trying to register my
account by hand doesn't work, it just always says registration failed
presumably because it doesn't have the socket to use).

[Bug 69525] Port listeningn / registration broken (by design)

2006-10-31 Thread Toni Heinonen
Public bug reported:

Running edgy and the latest ekiga,

when for instance connected through WLAN and the link goes down and
comes back up, Ekiga doesn't re-register but stays offline. You have to
register by hand again.

Also, if I start it when my links are down, it doesn't know how to start
the listeners. Registration is impossible, when I try it, it immediately
says it didn't work and I don't see any network traffic in the sniffer.

[Bug 67449] Slow to start, freezing, applets randomly don't load

2006-10-21 Thread Toni Heinonen
Public bug reported:

In edgy, about ever since RC came around, logging into gnome has been
really slow, like a couple of minutes. It seems the biggest problem is
the panel, it freezes and tilts every now and then. On login, a random
collection of applets (weather, network monitors, task list) doesn't
load (the list changes every time) and gnome asks if I want to remove
the non-working applets.

Any ideas how to debug?

[Bug 63715] Re: Crash when opening Exchange inbox

2006-10-08 Thread Toni Heinonen
Well,

I installed debug versions of evolution-exchange-server, libc6-i686 and
others, and got the attached backtrace by hand. I'm really not sure if
this is the same, because it didn't seem to crash instantaneously with
the new packages.

(At least this one doesn't seem to be an evolution-exchange bug.)

[Bug 63715] Crash when opening Exchange inbox

2006-10-03 Thread Toni Heinonen
Public bug reported:

I've reported numerous crashes in the past in the Exchange backend, and
I'm not sure if this is another one or not.

Simply, opening my inbox on an Exchange server crashes evolution-
exchange-backend immediately.

[Bug 63715] Re: Crash when opening Exchange inbox

2006-10-03 Thread Toni Heinonen
I'm running the latest edgy.

I've installed evolution-dbg and evolution-data-server-dbg. What's the
easiest way to get the exchange backend with debug symbols? Hand-compile
from source?

It's unusable just 'cos I use only exchange, sorry for being ambiguous.

There's -dbgsym packages for evolution, evolution-data-server and
evolution-plugins, but not for evolution-exchange.

I'm running current edgy. I installed the debug symbols, and reported
this to upstream as well:

Any other debugging symbol packages I should install?

[Bug 60810] Re: Importing MP3s tries to create messed up filename, crashes

2006-09-25 Thread Toni Heinonen
I'm terribly sorry,

but I just installed debug symbols and tried importing again, and got no
error. I'm not sure if a new version of sound-juicer was upgraded during
my regular APT upgrades, but I haven't stumbled into the bug again.

On my account, you may close this, and I'll create a new raport if the
error duplicates.

[Bug 60810] Importing MP3s tries to create messed up filename, crashes

2006-09-16 Thread Toni Heinonen
Public bug reported:

I was trying to import my Frank Zappa CD in MP3. Sound juicer somehow
messes up the filename, even though the artist and disc name show up OK
without any garbage. The attempted directory name is full of garbage
like pipes, spaces and random numbers.

After failure of the attempt to open the first file, sound juicer gives
an error on the filename, then on the ripping process, and then crashes.
Please see attached screenshot of the first error and crash report.

[Bug 53016] Long deadlock after loading drivers

2006-07-14 Thread Toni Heinonen
Public bug reported:

Every time I connect my Canon Powershot Pro 1 it tilts just in the end
of loading drivers (a couple of pixels of blank left in the meter) for a
couple of minutes, after which it finally starts browsing the images for
thumbnails.
