I have a similar problem in 22.04 Thinkpad 430. After coming back from standby is at lowest level and I need to increase by using the special keyboard keys. I forgot to mention that the present behaviour is that context-menu simply does not appear on right-click. When I work with images (generate, copy, move) and use nautilus gvfs- metadata often hangs Nautilus, so that it is not displaying any files in a window. Nautilus becomes fine when I kill gvfs-metadata. Evince fails to display DVI documents that contain an AMS symbol: in my case
\Box with the message "DVI document has incorrect format". Other viewers
(okular, xdvi) open the dvi file in question fine, conversion to pdf also
works. Evince opens other dvi files without problems. Example of source that
