This bug still not fixed, adding a core dump and this might have
relations to bug #1743732 because if you turn the monitor off or lock
the screen, everything in that session are lost. Daniel van Vugt asked
to move that bug to private.

Core was generated by `/usr/bin/Xwayland :0 -rootless -terminate -core
-listen 4 -listen 5 -displayfd'.

Ubuntu 17.10 x64, fresh install.

 Every-time the lock screen kicks in, gnome shell crashes closing whatever app 
you was working on or using it and dmesg reports this error.
[ 6329.119434] gnome-shell[1389]: segfault at 38 ip 7f72fb315cf0 sp 
7ffe1c8a03d8 error 4 in libmutter-1.so.0.0.0[7f72fb2c3000+142000]

 The bug is very simmilar to bug #1458158
