[Bug 1621203] Re: evolution/totem/gthumb crashes when run in vnc session

2019-04-14 Thread yoav
I experience this as well with evolution over xrdp. Any chance this will
be looked at?

[Bug 455623] Re: Multiple parallel file copies to USB are slower than sequential processing

2010-02-26 Thread Yoav
Obviously that's a device limitation (assuming one of the devices is a
hard disk), but sequential copying or timesharing with very large time
slots (each file get a few seconds at a time for copying its contents)
would avoid the problem never the less.

[Bug 245002] Re: Though I press play, the song doesn't start to play

2008-10-01 Thread Yoav Aner
Yes. Once I changed the audio settings as described above it seemed to
have solved the problem.

Like I said though, I wonder what changed it to NOT working in the first
place, since I clearly remember not too long after installing ubuntu it
worked for me, then it stopped for some bizarre reason, and only worked
again after changing the settings to ALSA.

[Bug 245002] Re: Though I press play, the song doesn't start to play

2008-09-01 Thread Yoav Aner
I've had a similar problem, and it turned out somehow the sound settings
weren't correct. I can't remember exactly how they were set
unfortunately, but I went to System->Preferences->Sound and changed
everything to ALSA. Seemed to have done the trick in rhythmbox. The
funny thing is I remember rhythmbox working fine to start with and then
stopping, so I wonder what happened. Anyway, at least it now works (for
me)
