More info as I can reproduce this bug. [Bug 31484] xchat launcher doesn't work after upgrade to Dapper

I have added an xchat launcher to my top panel on my desktop since Hoary, and in both Hoary - Breezy and Breezy - Dapper upgrades the launcher never changed.
