[Bug 108506] Re: user withn audio group can not login in gnome
Making more tries, I have found the next: The problem arise when I boot the laptop with the usb mouse pluged. If I boot without plugin the mouse gnome boot properly, after I can plug the mouse and all works properly. I guess the problem should be with the detection/configuration of the usb mouse (hal?) -- user withn audio group can not login in gnome https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/108506 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug assignee. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 108506] Re: user withn audio group can not login in gnome
The problem seems to be worse because it is random. Last (almost) 7 times I have boot the computer it works properly. This morning it did not work and today afternoon it boots correctly. I attach two copies of .xsession-error; one when the error occurs and another when not. For me it seems that gnome-sessin stop sudenly. ** Attachment added: .xsession-error whetn the error hapens http://librarian.launchpad.net/7411505/xsession-error.log -- user withn audio group can not login in gnome https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/108506 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug assignee. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

[Bug 108506] Re: user withn audio group can not login in gnome
In the failsafe mode the sound works properly, and I don't see any error in the terminal. Is the output of the terminal logged in any file or it is possible to redirect it, so I can attach here? [Bug 108506] user withn audio group can not login in gnome
You have been subscribed to a public bug: I have upgrade from edgy to feisty. After login in gnome the computer feeze. Nautilus did not start (even the startup bar do not start). I found that if I delete my user from the audio group I can login properly, but, of course, I can not use the sound card.
