According to Gareth Stephens wrote on 2010-04-07:#18 Also affecting me, and the previously mentioned workaround from delaneya of changing to the clear looks theme also allows the ping tab to be accessed. I did change to Cearlooks theme, after I filed this bug report. Then I found the last comment, change the theme to Clearlooks, (I do nothing to the current session, no re login nor reboot, nothing..) I can use ping tap immediately. No Errors any more. I hope other bugs would not related to the theme we used like this bug. hope? [Bug 343143] [NEW] after install custom ubuntu got this error
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-control-center 1. I used Unetbootin in ubuntu8.04 to install Ubuntu 8.1 to Harddisk 2. boot succesful in UBUNTU 8.10 3. Install extra packages, k3b, Ubuntu Customization Kit, virtuall box, remastersys, dvd95 converter, virtual machine manager. 4. I used remastersys to =backup full got iso file 1.2GB 5. Used =from panel= System / Administration / Create a USB start up disk = to create a usb 2Gb 6. Install the Customised ubuntu 8.10 to another notebook, ASUS oem S62J. 7. Cannot boot the new sda11Ubuntu8.10. with sudo grub find /boot/grub/stage1 8. Boot sda9Ubuntu 8.04, found that not /grub, only /boot, so I copy sda9Ubuntu 8.04-/boot/grub put to sda11Ubuntu8.10-/boot and edit /boot/grub/menu.list 9. login to sudo grub find /boot/grub/stage1 == this time got [hd0,8(sda9)] [hd0,9(sda10)] [hd0,10(sda11)] 10. root (hd0) 11. boot successful to sda11Ubuntu8.10 install Nvedia driver(auto detect by ubuntu8.10 12 After or at the same time I got this error and report to u Thanks I hope you can find the reason. Sorry I need to open this report instead. I use UBUNTU 8.04 with full updated all suggested packages from update manager. I attach a screenshort display 4 windows. 2 on the left, Rytmbox and its Basic Tap display wrong script for Thai Fonts. 2 on the right, Details Tap and File browser (PlacesComputerCDROM ) Display correct Thai Fonts. So your program can display correct Thai script only in the Individual Song Property Window / Details Tab Please correct this, and I will try to promote your program and try to translate into Thai.
