[Bug 568994] Re: Shutdown, from System > Shutdown or via gnome applet not working consistently
I have very limited/no time to do some precise bug tracking, so apologises. For now: it seems related to openoffice.org. The problem occurs only if I used it during the session. I've enabled the quickstarter. -- Shutdown, from System > Shutdown or via gnome applet not working consistently https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/568994 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-panel in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 568994] Re: Shutdown, from System > Shutdown or via gnome applet not working consistently
Well, he isn't the only one. I have the same symptom, when I select shutdown or reboot from the indicator-applet, a window will appear to confirm but when I click yes nothing will happen. [Bug 351300] Re: gnome-panel non-responsive on login
maybe this is related to https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source /gnome-panel/+bug/448084 ? In 25% of the cases gnome-panel hangs on startup while loading the systray + indicator applet. I have this issue both on my desktop as laptop. I'm experiencing the same on ubuntu 8.10.
