[Bug 184607] Re: pkgconfig file says Requires glib instead of glib-2.0

2008-01-20 Thread andi5
** Description changed:

  Binary package hint: gconf

  Version: 2.21.1-0ubuntu1
  File /usr/lib/pkgconfig/gconf-2.0.pc contains the line
  Requires: glib
  instead of
  Requires: glib-2.0

  So `pkg-config --cflags gconf-2.0` returns -DORBIT2=1 -pthread
- -I/usr/include/gconf/2 -I/usr/include/orbit-2.0 -I/usr/include/glib-2.0
+ -I/usr/include/gconf/2 -I/usr/include/orbit-2.0 -I/usr/include/glib-1.2
+ -I/usr/lib/glib/include -I/usr/include/glib-2.0
  -I/usr/lib/glib-2.0/include with glib1 remnants.

A fix has been committed upstream at
  http://svn.gnome.org/viewvc/gconf?view=revisionrevision=2506 and will
probably be contained in the next release 2.21.2.

This breaks compiling of at least gnucash (bug 184176) as well.

[Bug 145729] Re: Gnucash: Crash in filechooser while selected folder was modified from console

2007-12-27 Thread andi5
GnuCash uses the GtkFileChooser as intended, so please verify that this
not a bug of GTK+, e.g. by trying to reproduce the crash with gedit or
other gtk+ applications.

3. Version of libgtk2.0-0 used.

Mark, in case you know how to compile gnucash, does gnucash 2.2.2 fix
the crash you see?

[Bug 64500] Re: aclocal warns about gconf-1.m4

2006-10-07 Thread andi5
No :)

But according to `man aclocal' (and my own experience):

At startup, aclocal scans all the .m4 files it can find, looking for macro
definitions.

This also means that it spits out these warnings =)
