[Bug 834240] [NEW] custom icon theme resets to ubuntu-mono when opening appearance properties
Public bug reported: When opening the appearance properties window (to, say, change the background) my icons are all reset to the default ubuntu-mono ones. This should not happen. To recreate the issue: 1. use dconf-editor or gnome-tweak-tool to change icon theme. 2. right-click on desktop, select Change Desktop Background A better scenario would be leaving the icon theme as it was set, and showing Custom as the theme. Another button would open a dialog to edit, individually, the icon, gtk, and window-border themes. ** Affects: gnome-control-center (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: Confirmed -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-control-center in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/834240 Title: custom icon theme resets to ubuntu-mono when opening appearance properties To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-control-center/+bug/834240/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 50198] Re: Timeout has expired error on resume from hibernate
I'm getting this in onieric as well. For me at least, I can't do anything other than force a reboot. This should have a higher priority, IMO. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-screensaver in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/50198 Title: Timeout has expired error on resume from hibernate To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/gnome-screensaver/+bug/50198/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 15495] Re: Archive Manager doesn't mean anything if you don't know what an archive is
If the word Package is reserved for .debs, why don't we call an archive a parcel or something similar. Also, it would make more sense to call .debs Applications, as that is more specific than packages, and call archives, which may or may not be applications packages. -- Archive Manager doesn't mean anything if you don't know what an archive is https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/15495 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a direct subscriber. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 15495] Re: Archive Manager doesn't mean anything if you don't know what an archive is
The word Package or Box would accurately describe the purpose of Archives, to combine files and/or to compress them. It gives a more intuitive name, which a new user could understand. -- Archive Manager doesn't mean anything if you don't know what an archive is https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/15495 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a direct subscriber. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 99015] Re: shuffle doesn't work in queue
Instead of not adding the feature because it doesn't fit the name, change the name so it fits the feature. Development should not be stopped just because of what something is called.
