[Bug 828756] Re: getting connection is untrusted warnings
I have this issue on 12.04 (Final Release) - Google Talk protocol The account is the same as used with 11.04 and 11.10. Nothing has changed in my home directory. But now upon connecting I get a popup telling me the connection is untrusted. I can check to trust the connection, but upon clicking OK, Empathy doesn't connect. The solution is to re-enter my password for the account, but I don't want to be doing this every time I boot up! When running Empathy from terminal I noticed this message: (empathy:16611): folks-WARNING **: Failed to find primary PersonaStore with type ID 'eds' and ID 'system'. Individuals will not be linked properly and creating new links between Personas will not work. The configured primary PersonaStore's backend may not be installed. If you are unsure, check with your distribution. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to empathy in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/828756 Title: getting connection is untrusted warnings To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ca-certificates-java/+bug/828756/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

[Bug 38512] Re: Window close should close, not quit
Definitely a bug or inconsistency in my opinion. As mentioned something like Pidgin, if I select close or click the x it just minimizes. Rhythmbox seems to be the only app that goes against this. Hence I see it as a bug as it's not consistent with other apps. -- Window close should close, not quit https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/38512 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a direct subscriber. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 133030] Re: totem-xine and mplayer cannot play any video
*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 111257 *** https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/111257 I get this problem too. Running Gutsy, with an ATI X1900. It worked ok in the 64-bit version strangely, but not the 32-bit version. I did however have the very latest 8.42 ATI drivers installed with the 64-bit version, whereas I'm no currently running via the ones in the repo. (totem:9794): GLib-CRITICAL **: g_bookmark_file_get_size: assertion `bookmark != NULL' failed The program 'totem' received an X Window System error. This probably reflects a bug in the program. The error was 'BadMatch (invalid parameter attributes)'. (Details: serial 42 error_code 8 request_code 141 minor_code 14) (Note to programmers: normally, X errors are reported asynchronously; that is, you will receive the error a while after causing it. To debug your program, run it with the --sync command line option to change this behavior. You can then get a meaningful backtrace from your debugger if you break on the gdk_x_error() function.) -- totem-xine and mplayer cannot play any video https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/133030 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug assignee. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
