Public bug reported:
Heres the problem, upon some restarts, not every restart, when I try to
use my keyboard mulitmedia keys to change the volume it will use my
via8237[alsa mixer] and not my Audigy 2 ZS [sb0350] (alsa mixer). In
gnome-volume-manager I have it set to use the audigy card and I can
change the volume using the applet on the panel but not with my
multimedia keys. This is in edgy-eft beta1 and my keyboard is a logitech
itouch, the rest of the keys work just fine. If there was a way for me
to just totally disable the via8237 sound device that would be the best
solution as I don't even have it enabled in my bios. I guess I would
have to do this by compiling the kernel without support for this device?
