[Bug 385687] Re: EOG doesn't display .svg w/ multiple lines of text properly

2010-07-02 Thread floflooo
I'm on Fedora now, but with EOG 2.30.1, there are still black boxes. I
think there are still some unanswered questions here. Has the bug been
filed upstream? Also, Erik's questions are unanswered: who should we
complain to? will this be fixed automatically when the SVG specification
comes out?

[Bug 385687] Re: EOG doesn't display .svg w/ multiple lines of text properly

2009-07-22 Thread floflooo
I have this problem with SVGs produced by Inkscape. But really it's Inkscape's
fault, not EOG's. See this:
http://wiki.inkscape.org/wiki/index.php/FAQ#What_about_flowed_text.3F
Still it would be nice if EOG would support it...

[Bug 402642] [NEW] Cannot un-stretch icon in a Nautilus window

2009-07-21 Thread floflooo
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: nautilus

Steps to reproduce:
- Have an icon on the Gnome desktop
- Right click and stretch the icon
- Open a Nautilus window
- Drag and drop the stretched icon from the desktop to the Nautilus Window
- The icon in the Nautilus window is now stretched and cannot be un-stretched
because there is no stretch option when right-clicking on the icon

Expected behavior:
- Either have no stretched icons in Nautilus windows
- Or have stretched icons in Nautilus windows, with a contextual menu to alter
the stretching

System info:
- Ubuntu 9.04
- Nautilus 1:2.26.2-0ubuntu2

[Bug 23220] Re: Closing lid should not turn off external LCD

2009-05-11 Thread floflooo
I'm affected by this bug! It seems to me that the power management
preferences should have an additional option that detects if an external
screen is connected. This option would turn off the laptop screen when
the laptop lid is closed, making the desktop go from an a dual-screen
setup where the laptop monitor is the primary display to a single-
display where the external display is the primary one.

At this time, I have to setup the laptop to use both monitors (extended
desktop) in the display preferences, change the power management
preferences to do nothing when the laptop lid is closed, turn off the
laptop display in the display preferences and finally close the laptop
lid. A bit tedious...

[Bug 198134] Re: evince not respecting default printer

2009-04-01 Thread floflooo
I also confirm this bug on Ubuntu Intrepid 8.10, Evince 2.24.1.
I set the default printer using the Ubuntu menu System Preferences Default
Printer. Then Evince uses the system default, not the default that I have set
up. Other applications like Firefox or OpenOffice respect the user's defaut
printer.

[Bug 353338] [NEW] Printed PDF is missing field data

2009-04-01 Thread floflooo
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: evince

I have a PDF file that seems to have been a form on which the fields were
completed by someone. In my version, it does not seem to be editable by me.
What happens is that the PDF displays fine in Evince and I can see the data in
the fields, but when I print it, the information in the fields is missing. The
print preview function of Evince also does not display the field content. Using
XPDF, the PDF is displayed and printed correctly.
The PDF file is attached.
System information:
   Ubuntu 8.10
   Evince 2.24.1
   Poppler 0.8.7
   Cups 1.3.9

PS/ This is not a duplicate of bug #293883 or bug #296743 since I am
unaffected by these bugs.
