[Bug 1479054] Re: Shuffle and repeat buttons pressed state does not visually differ from unpressed state
I tried to change themes, a lot of them, and whichever I use, this problem persists. I really think there is no change at all on the buttons themselves. In every other application, the difference between a pressed and an unpressed button is clearly visible. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to rhythmbox in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1479054 Title: Shuffle and repeat buttons pressed state does not visually differ from unpressed state To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/rhythmbox/+bug/1479054/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

OK, I have just tried the Stylishdark-wps theme, and with it the difference between pressed and unpressed buttons in Rhythmbox is finally visible. [Bug 1029289] Re: Need to authorize my google account each time I boot the computer
Thank you, Alberto! Interestingly, the packages Mathew listed were NOT upgraded along with evolution-data-server. I upgraded them just now, and it seems to work fine now. Would it be a good idea to specify those dependencies in the evolution-data-server package? Should I change the tag to verification-done now? :-) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to evolution-data-server in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1029289 Title: Need to authorize my google account each time I boot the computer To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/account-plugins/+bug/1029289/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

[Bug 1029289] Re: Need to authorize my google account each time I boot the computer
Matthew, I have enabled trusty-proposed repository, updated repo lists and then did sudo apt-get install evolution-data-server to upgrade it, and I accepted to install all the necessary dependencies with it. When finished, I re-disabled that repo. aptitude show evolution-data-server lists the packages you mention as dependencies, so I assume I have them all up to date with the proposed repo now. Could I be wrong? Alberto, yes, the calendar service seems to still be the problematic one. Both before and after I upgraded to the proposed packages the bug appears only when calendar is enabled. Above, by unchanged I meant I am noticing the exactly same behavior -- no improvements, no regressions, no changes. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to evolution-data-server in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1029289 Title: Need to authorize my google account each time I boot the computer To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/account-plugins/+bug/1029289/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 1218322] Re: Can't set keyboard layout change to alt+shift, ctrl+shift, etc.
This has been solved for quite some time for me with the old attente ppa. Only today, suddenly it sopped working... Maybe because of some upgrade this weekend? Anyway, I installed the new one, but it still doesn't work with alt+caps lock. :-/ -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-settings-daemon in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1218322 Title: Can't set keyboard layout change to alt+shift, ctrl+shift, etc. To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/gnome-settings-daemon/+bug/1218322/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 1218322] Re: Can't set keyboard layout change to alt+shift, ctrl+shift, etc.
I am basically satified with the fix (using Alt+CapsLock), but I can confirm that if I write in caps lock, when I change layout, the caps lock status resets to off. I seldom write in caps lock, so this is just a minor annoyance for me, but I guess it wasn't supposed to act this way. [Bug 1218322] Re: Can't set keyboard layout change to alt+shift, ctrl+shift, etc.
Just installed Saucy, and I am confirming this is an issue for me, too. I managed to set it to ctr+alt+space, which seems to be the least bad option for me... I was always using alt+caps. It looks like it forces you to take an alpha-numeric key for the shortcut, which is unpractical for obvious reasons. So we are forced to use space there, which is the only really universal cross-layout alphanumeric key. It is a serious regression. [Bug 648283] Re: Brasero creating incomplete image (.ISO) files
Recently, there was an upgrade of Brasero in Maverick, but version is still 2.32.0, and the problem persits... [Bug 657684] Re: Brasero burns corrupted disks and 2MB images
I am experiencing the same (or a very similar) bug on Maverick 64 bit. I noticed this just today, but have obviously experienced it a few days ago, too, when I got a corrupted data DVD after it burned, seemingly, without errors. But then I had no time to investigate so I left it for later till today. A few days ago I had the checksum plugin disabled, and Brasero showed no errors, but the disk itself was corrupted -- it wasn't possible to open the audio files I burnt on it. I was burning today a similar CD, a bunch of mp3 files, got the same behaviour. So I went to check the plugins, and enabled the checksums control. Then I re-tried to burn the same project, it gave out an error, and indeed, the disk was corrupted the same way as before. I re-tried again, now it showed no errors, but the disk was still corrupted. I even tried to simulate the burning before the real burning itself. The simulation seemed to be way to fast, but it reported as it was done correctly so Brasero proceded forward to the real burn proces. In the end... the same corrupted disk. I thought it might be that my burner device was gone, so to opt-out this possibility, I thought of trying to burn with other software. So I installed Xfburn, which woked fairly well and the resulted disk was normally functional, the mp3's played normal. So it is obviously something about Brasero going on here... After I read this bug report, I tried to make an image, too. Got the same result as reported above by Claudio Moretti. I must say that I usually don't drag and drop files to Brasero, not from Rhythmbox nor from Nautilus, I use the Brasero's own interface to add files, and still got this bug. Also, until not so long ago everything worked fine... I don't remember if there were any Brasero-related upgrades recently... But all of a sudden it stopped to work correctly, which bothers me, as otherwise it is my favourite burning application... :-/ -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to brasero in ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/657684 Title: Brasero burns corrupted disks and 2MB images -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
