[Bug 132575] Re: Change desktop background misleading name for menu entry
It took me a lot of time to change the font properties the first time, since it is not in system/preferences or system/administration. Actually, it's in the most obfuscated place it could be... why? Whenever i click on Change Desktop Background, the Appearance Preferences window shows up which not only allows you to: -change desktop background -change theme -change fonts -change interface -change compiz preferences Probably the end-user wasn't expecting that! I really, really think this should be called CHANGE DESKTOP APPEARANCE or something more general. -- Change desktop background misleading name for menu entry https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/132575 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug assignee. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 21978] Re: Nautilus cannot trash weirdly named files
'm having the same problem here with an up-to-date ubuntu 7.04 steps to reproduce: 1- create a new file name wherever you want, name it as you like (no need to use weird characters) 2- try to delete it using the DELETE key in the keyboard 3- realize you can't delete it using the keyboard. but you can if you use the contextual menu of the file. i hope this get fixed ! keep going with the good work =) -- Nautilus cannot trash weirdly named files https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/21978 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a direct subscriber. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
